Pink Jeep Tour Review

As part of my weekend in Pigeon Forge, TN, we took a Pink Jeep Tour into the Smoky Mountains! Even though it was a rainy day, they still run the tours. We lucked out that it stopped raining once we arrived in the National Park.

You meet your driver at Pink Jeep Tours and you have a choice of a few different routes to take. Since there was a bit of weather, our driver recommended we take the Roaring Fork path, so we loaded up the jeep and took off.

(The driver took our picture and he made us say “Happy Times” and always managed to take our picture mid word)

The driver has a microphone and ours gave us a lot of information about the area. Now, granted I was with my friend Katie who is basically an expert on this area and probably could have given us the tour herself, but I still found it very informative and interesting to hear about some history as we drove up into Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Since the weather started cooperating, we stopped several times for pictures and sight seeing. Here are the highlights:

This house is rumored to be haunted. I refused to get any closer than this, but my friends all went in. Here is a video one of them took if you are interested in what part of it looks like inside.

The water was definitely my favorite part! It was so loud but so peaceful.

Once we returned back to Pigeon Forge, we got to experience a little off roading! Dollywood offered some of their land to the Pink Jeep Tour company and they built a gravel trail, so while it technically wasn't true off roading, it was still my first experience. I had been wondering why there were handles above us in the jeep, and my question was answered as soon as we entered this portion of the tour!

Overall, it was about a 3 hour trip. While it is something you can definitely drive yourself, I enjoyed the added experience of having our tour guide/driver tell us more about what we were seeing.

Pink Jeep Tours also operates in Brandon, MO and Sedona, AZ, so if you are ever in those areas, it might be worth checking into a tour!
