What to Pack for an All Inclusive Beach Vacation
Headed to the Caribbean or beach for vacation? Whether you have chosen to stay at an all inclusive resort or not, make sure you pack the right items! Here are my tips.
Essentials for the airport
Travel documents (passports, drivers licenses – make a photocopy of your passport to carry with (or have a picture saved on your phone) and to leave at home with a trusted individual, too!)
Well packed carry-on: any items that would be essential within 24 hours of travel (phone chargers, change of clothing, bathing suit, travel size toiletries, medications)
Headphones or earbuds
Snacks
Phone charger
Dressing for your vacation
Lightweight, comfortable clothing: shorts and polos, sundresses, activewear for excursions, and at least one nicer outfit (long pants for men and dresses or dress pants for women) in case you want to go to a restaurant with a dress code
Comfortable shoes for excursions, sandals for the pool/beach, dress shoes for dinner
Multiple bathing suits: the humidity makes drying take longer, so bring more than one to rotate wearing throughout your stay
Light jacket and umbrella, just in case!
Protect your skin!
Sunscreen: bring more than you think you will need because it is much more expensive to buy extra once you get there
Bug spray: especially for excursions or sitting outside in the evening
Sunglasses and hats
All the Extras
Small First Aid Kit
Waterproof cases and bags
Laundry detergent powder or pods
Extra duffel bag: doubles as a beach bag or for bringing home any extra souvenirs!
Bottle Opener
External battery charger
